The Question Of The Purpose

I often wonder about the purpose of life.

What I do keeps me busy but that doesn't always come from the region of the heart, so obviously no matter what I accumulate something always remains missing.

In my opinion it's important to fill that void to attain a sense of fulfillment.

I believe, at this moment of my life, the mistake I make is not the wrong answers that I come up with, it's the question that I ask, which is slightly incomplete.

Instead of pondering over the purpose of life, I should rather be focussing on the purpose of 'My' life. If the purpose had to be the same for everyone then I would assume that God would have blessed one and all with similar abilities.

God has a plan for everyone, it's in the Bible, and we must keep our faith strong and walk through the plan.

The first and the most difficult step is to recognize the purpose of 'Our' lives. Once we realize what it is, then we just have to keep on moving.

We all desire longevity.

The purpose shouldn't be the end because that ways we would ourselves be murdering the idea of longivity.

The purpose that we strive for should be ever expanding. The more we feel closer to achievement the further it should actually be. That's what will always drag the best of our abilities out of our hesitant hearts and give a higher sense of fulfillment.

Another important aspect of the purpose is 'Right Intention'.
If the intention isn't right, our sucess will plant a sense of guilt or regret in some form in some hidden corner of our hearts. That will hinder the journey towards utmost satisfaction.

The intention must also be selfless. The more we genuinely intend to give the more we would probabely get. Satisfaction wouldn't necessarily be attained by striving for it, what we must strive for is satisfying the needs that are not ours alone. The needs may belong to other people or their situations, sometimes circumstances alone.

Our circumstances are the products of the choices made by the conscious spirit in totality and not just the choices made by one. They may not always be in our favor, but they are actually the opportunities laid before us that we can utilize to develop our strengths.

Your purpose can very well be the someone elses' need.

The passion that we have for our individual purposes is the display of the belief that we place in ourselves.

Follow your heart.

Faith

The smudged horizon, northern lights above the ground
Conceal not the white summer sun
No brighter than the learned Moses’ face
Bound not by the aged earth or the languished sky
But by the will, its pace
A spiritual breeze, a satanic storm
Dust all around
Stern innocence still firm, the unfledged white summer sun
No dimmer than the bright Achilles shield
Worries it not, fragrant lilies in the field
I know not,
Where this wind comes from, where it goes
Whisks around, smooth in execution
Infidel it is though consumes, Aphrodite’s swiftness, Pallas Athena’s illusions
That’s momentary
An atheist in a synod
Gushing flood waters, hot water geysers calmed
At his nod
Men reborn of water, eternal life transcends
Onto them
That bread fed several, word several souls
Brighter still is the white summer sun
I wish it set not ever, thoughts it invokes
Peace absorbed, faith renewed
I shall live and die a better man.

Atheist

A long time, uphill
Six ages a mile
The lap preceding judgment
Fruits are sweet
Grass is greener
Heart swelled with the colors of joy
Gratefulness
Thank but whom?

Fear Is Satanic

II Timothy 1:7 : "God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, of love, and a sound mind."

Fear, someone said, arises from the absence of love. Religions suggest that we should love and we should love all. The Bible tells us to love our enemies. The horizontal love for men and the vertical love for God is symbolized by the cross.

In my opinion fear is not just the absence of love, but the result of diminished faith as well. Most of us believe In god. We also believe that God is good. If God is good and is in control of our lives then why do we still fear the future? We are gripped by fears of all kinds, we fear the future, we fear not having what we wish to in the future and some of us even have the fear of fear, phobaphobia as it is called.

We need to realize that God doesn't want us to fear. We must have faith and it must reflect in our character. God made Adam in his own image and we being the children of Adam must try to walk in the image and we must walk in and by the word of God.

The easiest way to start doing that is by listening to our conscience and by keeping faith in the spirit at all times. Difficult times tend to make us weak, they encourage us to allow doubt to set in. That's exactly the time when we must make a conscious effort and not allow ourselves to be ruled by our carnal mind. We have to make the choice. We have to choose to be happy, else we shall never run out of excuses for being unhappy.

In the book of John when Jesus converted five pots of water into wine, the first miracle, it was the best wine ever served. It clearly implies that the best has been saved for the last. Instead of being unhappy about not having something today, we must feel confident of getting the best that has been saved for us.

God has a plan for everyone's life.

In the Mahabharat is has been said:

Fate takes away all reason,
As glare blinds the eye,
Man bound as with nooses,
Obeys the placer's way.

Still we have the power of reason and the freedom of choice. If you choose to die God may not necessarily stop you from dying, but you shall be judged. If we walk in the word of god, listen to our conscience, have faith in the spirit of the universe then we shall get what we should at the time when we need to receive it.

Why should you fear at all? If God can look after the gentle lilies in the field that are here today gone tomorrow, will he not look after you?

If you keep faith in the spirit, if you are righteous, if you choose to have love and peace in your heart and mind, if you are not governed by the desires and conflicts of mind, then the whole universe shall conspire in your favor. Then you just need to plant the seed of your desire in the pure field of potentiality and the spirit will make sure that your desire is realized.

However we must have selfless love in our heart, the right intention and faith.

We must refuse to fear and allow not ourselves to be in that bondage. Once we do that, the power of the spirit shall be in our favor.
